I'm happy to announce the official release of Beta 5 of Unreal Demolition.
There are a number of small fixes in this version. However, the big addition is the inclusion of Flag Soccer.
Flag Soccer is a new mix of CTF and Soccer in which the only team allowed to score is the team controlling the flag.
It's proven to be rather interesting in testing, so I'm hoping everyone enjoys it.
The other addition that people should enjoy is the vehicle selection that has been put in place, allowing for quick changes in vehicles.
Happy demolition everyone!

With the help of Hybrid, we've been working on squashing some bugs in the Beta 4 release. Thanks to this, I'm happy to announce the release of Beta 4.1. You can find the necessary downloads in the Files section. They are available in either Full Install or Patch Install.
The changes in this version include:
- Zero health bug FINALLY resolved.
- Updated damage system.
- Collision sound effect changes volume based on the violence of the collision.
Those are the main bugs fixed, along with some smaller tweaks and changes to the inner code.
Hybrid and I are now going to be moving into developing the next big release, Beta 5. This will include Flag Soccer, a new variation on soccer being made for UD. More details will be released on this mode in the near future.
For now, enjoy the fun. As always, I'm looking for more people to help out with the team for current and future (IE: UT2007) versions of Unreal Demolition. Contact Dan Weiss if you're interested.

In today's news, I'm happy to announce a new member to the UD team. Hybrid will be providing his skills to help out on programming duties for Unreal Demolition. Work has begun on the next release, so look forward to more news soon.

A general message for anyone wanting to play online, we have a server up at 8.9.8.218 based in Chicago. The server will be up on Classic Demolition by default. The server is run through Gameservers (formally Clanservers), and I can't recommend them enough. If you're looking for a game server, click the button in the side bar to check out what they offer.
If you're looking for people to play with online go to irc.quakenet.org @ #unrealdemolition and see who's around.

I'm proud to announce the release of Beta 4 of Unreal Demolition. You can grab the files in the downloads section.
This has been a bit over a month of fixing bugs just to get the past version working properly. However, there have been some additions to the mod.
The most notable addition is Stunt Mode, being released for the first time to the public. Also being released for the first time are a couple of maps that had been sitting around on my hard drive for a while, such as the new SumoArena.
Anyhow, the fun begins from here. Now that I've gotten the game back to a working state, I plan on fully pursuing the development of the design doc for UT2004, and in the near future, UT2007. Due to this, I'm looking for any number of people to help work on the mod. Drop by our IRC channel (irc.quakenet.org @ #unrealdemolition) and contact me for more details. You can also email me at schenksmill at gmail dot com.
Enjoy!

Quick update here. I've been hammering out bugs here and there that had either existed before or were a result of the patches since the last Unreal Demolition release. Because of this, I just need to complete some testing before I can release.
On that note, if you wish to play the game early as one of the testers, I've setup an IRC channel to gather people. Go to irc.quakenet.org @ #unrealdemolition for more details on how to test out the game before its release.
I'm also always looking for people to join the development team, so if you're interested, drop me an email or catch me on IRC.

I'll be setting up a new website over the next couple of days for Unreal Demolition. For now, I'll leave a placeholder of some sorts here. Also, if anyone is willing to run a game server for Unreal Demolition, even if only say a day or whatever a week, contact me. I'd really like to try to get some planned play time of UD in.
Until then, then final stable release of Unreal Demolition can be found here as well as the final unreleased version of Sumo Arena.
In the upcoming weeks I will be announcing plans for a new version of Unreal Demolition. For anyone interested in helping out before the announcement, catch me on IRC at #dbmixer or #x-ball on quakenet, or email me at schenksmill 'at' gmail 'dot' com.
